This place is good especially on weekdays when it is cheap for all you cheapskates out there (as well as broke college students like me). There is a wide variety of food you can choose from and they even have sushi! Customer service is okay. The waiters aren't the most hospitable but they do their job. Warning: don't come here often or you'll get tired of the food!

"The food is good. Dinner offers honey coconut shrimp and snow crab. If the crab is bright red enjoy something else. If its not bright red, the crab is delicious. All you can eat snow crab for $14 is a great deal."

Wide selection. Some things are great (honey shrimp, chow fun, soup), most things are ok - the sushi is surprisingly not too bad. And there's a balance of more American options with the Asian options and they have a nice build your own stir fry station. The lunchtime prices are really reasonable - dinner is a little more expensive, but not horrible. I've been to a lot of really bad Chinese buffets, but this one tends to be a crowd pleaser.Just as a side note: I think the desserts all taste the same and are icky, so maybe avoid those, but I just don't like generically sweet things.

It takes a lot for me to eat at a buffet. I hate seeing people touch everything and the idea of people coughing near the food I am about to eat frightens me. With that being said, I feel like the Golden Dragon is a relatively clean place with great service & good food for the price. You cannot beat that wok station for the same price as Great Khan's! And it's Coca-Cola Classic - yes!

I came in for dinner on thurs. night, the place looks pretty nice and clean. First walking in I saw rows of food thinking that there were going to be plenty of variety. Upon closer look, it's all the same items from every other buffets out there.After tasting the food, again I felt it tasted all the same. Some items were too dry like the salmon, the baby ribs and some of the dim sum. I was happy to see that they had prime rib avail. But after eating it, it was nothing compared to Texas roadhouse. But what do you think, it's a buffet. I mean the food is not bad, but not as good as Yummy buffet in San Jose. The place started to get crowded due to graduation night for the high school kids. So I guess people do like the food there. As for me a buffet connoisseur, I would have to give this place 3 stars for it's cleanliness, fair price and ok food for a buffet.

My first visit..outside the entrance, I planned to walk away freaking out by the lunch, dinner and holiday prices posted outside their door. It is the normal in the busy Lone Tree shopping area. The only Chinese buffet at this location. Too hungry to drive to another buffet miles miles away, I stayed. The waitress at the entrance was very very friendly greeted me to the small room near the entrance. I love that room...it feels quiet, luxury and two big screen TVs keeping me entertain.Next, the food. Very clean with atleast 4-5 isles of good food. On the side, the sushi isle which I did not try and the grill isle where you choose your favorite meat, veggies, sauce and they will cook it within minutes. The desert isle is very disappointing that day on my visit, only less than 5 items to choose from. I got the ice-cream instead.If the waiters inside the room can provide some peace and good eating to the customers, I will be happier. The waiters kept walking around like they were guarding the place or provide their best service for more TIPs.I did found some new items at Golden Dragon. Most of the food items are similar to other buffets I been to around the East Bay or near-by.You can always order to go by pound. I seen a lot of customer doing so including the grill section that cost a little more.

Honestly, you get what you pay for...its a average priced chinese buffet...with fries..lolthe food is alright...they have a stirfry station which is pretty good.(my favorite)the sushi isnt too bad either...I usually leave this place so stuffed I never wanna come back...but for some reason I always do lolDon't expect 5 star service...its run by asians...what do you expect =] lolPlace never dissapoints lol

Food is not bad and plenty of it. The price is incredibly reasonable and the place is always packed!
